• What is the largest component that you can machine?

• 1.2 Metres x 2.0 Metres and 4 Tonnes in weight.

• What is the longest shaft, and what is the largest diameter you can machine?

• Shafts of up to 3.5 Metres in length by 500mm over the saddle, and up to 2 Tons in weight can be successfully machined.

• What is the largest diameter that you can turn?

• 1.5 Metres diameter by 800mm long by 1 Tonne in weight.

• Do you have credit card facilities?

• Yes.

• Do you cut keyways?

• Yes, both internal (to 280 mm in length) and external any size, in articles 1.5 Metres in diameter and 600mm high, and up to 1 Tonne in weight.

• What are your hours of business?

• 7.30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday to Thursday & 7.30 am to 1.30 pm Fridays.

• Can you weld aluminium or zinc die-cast material?

• We can perform welded repairs in all common engineering materials except plastic.

• Can you rebuild ripper frames and tool bars?

• Yes, Tasweld Engineering can refurbish ripper assemblies up to D9.
